Being with them years. Early days of studies and trying to gain the relevant experience was hard at times but worth it in the long run. Professional organisation highly respected by employers and other accounting bodies. I went on and qualified further but like many others I know, I keep up my ATI membership. They have a well connected local recruitment service and offer great CPD. Everything they do is relevant to the Irish job market, so no sense of overseas-member syndrome!
So my journey with Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATi) began back in 2011 when I enrolled for my 2 Yr Part Time Course with ATi. What attracted me to this course was the flexibility of the program which facilitated me in combining full time work with a part time study program leading to a Level 6 Award on the NFQ. Upon successful completion of my exams I was then able to apply my two years work experience requirement and become a Full Member of ATi gaining my newly acquired designation of MIATi, which in itself I have found to be worth it's weight in gold when applying for a change in employment and indeed other opportunities which have since opened up for me. I can honestly say that I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey, and I owe a debt of gratitude to all the staff at ATi, the lecturers, and my fellow class mates who made the journey with me. I have made great new friends all along the way.
