If you expect Fish & Chips, Coronation Street and Roast Beef on a Sunday, you'll hate it here. Go to the coast amongst the ex pats who expect the locals to learn English. Ardales is a white painted Pueblo up in the mountains, about 20 miles from the Tart trap which is the Costa del Soll. We rent a 400 year old Finca, which is attached to the Castle ruins. Nothing is level here. If you're not going up, then it's down. There are good restaurants. Fish is on the Menu everywhere and nothing's a rip off as in UK. Shops, Bars, wonderful architecture, the Square is ideal for relaxing in the evenings. Also Caves to explore. It's Rural and the better for it. Hardly anyone speaks English, so brush up your Spanish and go for it. If you have a brain you'll enjoy it. Let the brainless go to Torrie' on the coast. We have beaches in the UK, but we don't have Andalusian culchure. Don't waste an opportunity.

Ardales é linda! A igreja maravilhosa, muita história e muita fé! O ZELADOR da igreja, pessoa espetacular, nos explicou toda história da cidade e da igreja. Cidade muito simpática. Uma arquitetura fantástica. GOSTAMOS MUITO. Fomos de carro, foi bem tranquilo.
