I cannot say enough wonderful things about this entire practice! The midwives are so professional, personal, knowledgeable and truly make every aspect of pregnancy and birth less overwhelming. The birth of our baby didn't go according to plan and ended in a hospital transfer and c section, but the midwives were there to hold my hand through the entire process. I felt so safe under their care and cannot imagine the experience without their care and support. Throughout my entire pregnancy and birth I felt so empowered and can't imagine another pregnancy without them!

I absolutely love this place. It's amazing we finally have a birthing center in Atlanta! These women are so kind and accommodating. Having my baby here was an one of a kind experience. I was the only woman birthing at the time and had an amazing midwife (Erin), midwife in training(Kate), and nurse (Anna) who were the greatest birthing team I could've ever asked for. If you're interested in having a natural birth please go to a Meet the Midwives. You will not regret your decision to birth here.
The Atlanta Birth Center provided excellent collaborative care for the birth of our second child. I'm thankful for my first birth experience in a large hospital but the ABC staff were so much more personal and their model of care is so much more complete than any hospital can provide. Do take their informational tour and consider them for your care.
The Atlanta birth Center is hands-down the best place to go to have a baby in Atlanta! The entire midwifery staff is amazing and full of knowledge. They all genuinely care about you and your baby and make the experience of labor and delivery the best it could possibly be. I recently gave birth to my son in their “Fire” room which is beautifully decorated and inviting just like home. I had a water birth which was fast and furious and our midwife Lori B still managed to make me feel comforted & at ease throughout the entire process. I highly recommend you visit the Atlanta birth Center to see what they have to offer. I think you will be extremely pleased!
Every woman should have the opportunity to experience birth at a place like the Atlanta Birth Center. We had our first born under the ABC team care and labored at the birth center for 24 hours. The rooms are beautiful and allow for a woman to labor as she wishes, whether in the oversized showers, birthing tub, queen size bed, rocker, on the toilet, etc. The staff really believes that your body can give birth and that you will know what to do throughout the labor. They listen to you and trust you. Additionally, the care leading up to the birth with the group appts and partner services available at the baltimore block are invaluable. We used Emerge for our education and hiring a doula which was just as important for a successful natural birth in my opinion. I do suggest still getting a doula when at the birth center because the midwife may have multiple women to tend to throughout your labor. I look back and am in awe of this place, with such fond memories and honestly can say I gave birth without feeling traumatized, but empowered and free. Not something I hear from many of my friends who have given birth elsewhere. This place is changing the narrative!!! THANK YOU!
