These folks are working their tale off under extraordinarily unfavorable circumstances. I encourage anyone trying to work through licensing issues to look at the Bulletin 20-ex-12 that was issued by the commissioner. These people are doing everything they can to service all applications and renewals. Long story short, a vendor decided to completely drop the ball during a transitional period and these wonderful folks at the insurance office have been left to clean up the mess. So be patient, be kind and take a deep breath. Tanya and Brenda are sweet and a pleasure to work with. They should be treated as such.

I applied for my insurance license over 4 months ago. I still have not heard one thing back. I have emailed and called both PSI and the Georgia Insurance Commissioner office. No one returns my calls or emails. So frustrated.
Talked to Asha today and she was such a great help. She was very patient, checked to make sure I had everything uploaded, and did all she could do to help me in my process of getting my insurance license. Thank you so much
You can forget about getting an insurance license from this state. I would give negative stars if I could. This is the worst department of insurance in the nation. They require a citizenship form for all resident & non-Resident Health & Life producers. I submitted the documentation over 2 weeks ago. Re-submitted two additional times. I haven't even received a single email receipt that they even received it and you cannot call because their third party processing called PSI is not even taking calls. Understand you can be busy due to AEP but two weeks with no response at all is insane!
The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Emailed and called multiple times on a licensing application. Could never get a single response back. The receptionist could not understand the most basic of questions even though I explained it 3 times. (Their link wasn't working for addt'l documentation. Yes, that concept was unable to be comprehended.) They blame their problems on a licensing co. they've contracted. Sure, they were bad, but their internal service is no better. I would never conduct another transaction with these people if I can avoid it.
