My friend and I were looking for a breakfast and coffee place and I skipped right by this one because all the photos are desserts. We happened to walk by and picked up a menu, then I saw what people were eating, and I was in! LOVED my latte with caramel and the avocado / bread / egg was delicious. Would definitely return, also just loving the patio area.

As person who was in the past the confectioner, I highly recommend to try desserts in König Cafe. The level of pastry is very high, the tastes are very natural without synthetic aftertastes. For 2 desserts, 2 drinks and 4 macaroons we payed 25. If you would ask if I want to come back again? My answer is exactly- YeS!! The atmosphere and design of the cafe is very special - relaxing. You are not just enjoying the delisting desserts, but also the interior.

I don't know who came up with the idea of putting scrambled eggs and bacon into a freshly baked croissant, or if this is common in Germany, but it was one of the best combinations I've ever had for breakfast. The croissant was crisp and light, the eggs perfectly scrambled, and great atmosphere overall. Definitely coming back to try some other things!

Liked the atmosphere and the pretty food, reminded me of a Ladurée cafe. BUT I had an issue ordering a slice of cake because the server did not know English well, and even though I showed her the direct Google translation of my order, she made me awkwardly leave my seat and walk to the bakery section of Konig, then go back to the table after ordering. Other guests who had a different server did not suffer through this. The experience was very off putting. Anyway, I ordered salmon cubes with pasta in butter sauce which was tasty though nothing exceptional. The Riesling wine was quite good though a small pour. The black forest cake was dry but looked pretty in the photo.
