I had Ruben as a music teacher for nearly 11 years and from day one when I entered the studio as opposed to me leaving on my final day was an incredible difference. I wouldn't say I am the most confident sight reader by a long shot, however Reuben's hard work and dedication to not only me but all of his students allowed me to become more confident. Thanks to Reuben I have never failed an ABRSM exam. The teaching quality is fantastic and the value for money is seriously worth it. Thank you Reuben for all of your hard work and support over the years!!

Reuben is a very patient and good humoured teacher, which is absolutely essential especially when teaching boys! My son has gone from strength to strength since being tutored by Reuben but more importantly, he really enjoys his lessons. Reuben makes lessons fun whilst still incorporating the bread and butter like scales and preparing for theory and practical exams. You get a feeling with Reuben that he knows his individual students really well. We are very lucky to have found such a great teacher!

I came to Reuben a few weeks before my first exam and if I hadn't I would have failed! He showed me dynamics and the correct tempo, which was not shown to me previously. I have learnt so much since I started having lessons with Reuben. He works with my strengths and weaknesses to help me understand sight reading and theory. I have passed my level 1 practical and my level 1 and 2 theory, with a distinction (96, 98)!! If I could change how I started learning piano it would be to come straight to Reuben, and not look back!

Reuben is an excellent piano teacher who really teaches to the persons individual needs. Our Son is enjoying his lessons so much and Reuben ensures he is providing music which motivates, interests and engages him. Everyone's learning journey is different and Reuben goes the extra mile to ensure that this is positive and enjoyable. The studio is well equipped and the technology is used to enhance skill development and enjoyment! A fantastic music teacher in which we are very lucky to have!

Reuben provides a very relaxed and supportive environment. Accepting that we all learn in different ways, he adapts his teaching style accordingly. He is very patient, and understands the sensitivities of the more mature newcomer to music. He helps the individual to achieve the best that he/she is capable of doing.
