i love the authenticity of their food. i ordered Tongseng Kulit and Tongseng Jeroan, both very tasty, delicious, and strong flavor. however, since they’re still using an old-style technique when they cook, i have to wait an almost 40 minutes to get my food ready. yet, it was paid off with the taste. located in precise main road of Jogja-Bantul.

This chicken stew is known as one of the most popular dishes in Bantul. The tongseng is well-seasoned—it tastes sweet and little bit spicy—and the price is affordable too. So tasty it deserves a five-star-review!

A must try food in Bantul Regency espescially when come to Pasar Bantul since this warung is located in the south of the Pasar. Affordable price with rich taste of season. Using thick coconut milk as the stock makes this dish become tasty. The chicken came from the villager so that the chicken meat is lean and didnt fatty. Better to come after lunch since their place for dine in is limited.

It is said this food stall been here for decades and such a legend. Netflix should come here to expose about this super yummy food! I love their tea too, using rock sugar and very authentic taste. The tongseng is a bit spicy for those who doesn't like spicy food, so be aware of that too. Overall, a must visit when in Yogyakarta!

so yummy...tongseng ayam kampung is the best...easy to reach. we can also find delicious side dish like tempe koro bacem,tahu isi goreng,& risol manis. i love how this place as great example of street food.

So delicious. But you need to patient while waiting the food. The tea use traditional sugar called gula batu also the tea can be refill.

For chicken tongseng this is the best place in jogja, location near Bantul Market, you should try the hot tea and also the gulai. The queue is long but worth it. Only need 1 rice 2 tongseng for me and 2 hot tea, definitely will go back here for more.
