Great local homemade food at very good prices. The octopus (El Pulpo) was the best thing from everything. It’s creamy, delicious and spiced perfectly. Totally recommend to try. The restaurant atmosphere is nothing fancy but it gives you a taste of a local vibe and staff is friendly.

I absolutely love this place. Food is from deep Spain :) made with love and you can taste it. I can't get enough and keep bringing friends and family here. And I love it is not full of guiris which are repelled by the looks of it. Hope it stays that way! But have to give them 5 stars because they deserve.

The staff was very helpful with of lack of Spanish. This is a bar and grill for the local population and offers honest Spanish cooking. The steak was hot and juicy and huge! The only downside is that Google maps may direct you to use back alleys to get here. User the main street that connects to La Rambla to be safe especially at night.

Absolutely delicious. The pulpo was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I speak very little Spanish and he spoke very little English, but we were able to work it out. The result was a meal that was delicious and managed to work around my dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free). I'll remember that meal and restaurant for the rest of my life.

Absolutely phenomenal place, we're so happy to have found it. We were looking for the authentic place (hate the word \authentic\ as it is so overused, but this place really IS true to the core!) and discovered Xironda Orense accidentally. It is pretty close to main tourist routes, but maintains the true character of the locals-mostly hole-in-the-wall place. The food is outstanding - the quality of the meat is beautiful and the appetizers (we had pimoentos de padron) are superb. We asked for the bottle of vino di casa and got a real home product (originating in Tarragona). We are coming back today, as the food is such a treat. The prices are around 30% of what you'd pay in the area but the food is WAY much better. It lloks like it is a family or friends run restaurant - the owner is super kind and friendly and we were treated with home-made digestivos in the end. Six stars place. LOVED it there.
