Very good, well maintained course. It is challenging, but fun. One piece of advice for the 18th hole. If you go long and right, don't try to recover your ball, there is a need nest and they get very angry! I have 2 stings to prove it!

Great course. Good layout great staff verry helpful .pitty they had a down pour night before we went. so a bit boggy .. will definitely be going back.

Barnsley is without doubt one of the best municipal Golf Courses in the area, it’s greens are as good if not better than most private courses. There have been numerous changes over the last few years to the course for the better, (although a couple of the tees need some work) and taking into consideration that you would be paying less that half what you would at a private courses it is fantastic value.
