Called a lot of places in London, but settled on Bass Bags in Derby! Pandemic meant we couldn't visit, but service via phone and email was brilliant, with great advice for a first string instrument. What stood out was aftersales. We had a problem with the case, but this was quickly discussed, options provided and a final happy resolution. No hesitation recommending Bass Bags. (Cello, case and accessories)

Bass Bags was the only shop who had the Kaplan solo D ext (F#) available (I did not check all, but I think of whole Europe and far beyond). Not the cheapest offer (but cheap but not available is not an option). So I think it is worthwhile. Service and delivery were as expected. So happy bassist here :-)
