Went in Jim's about a year ago to purchase a pistol and had a bad experience with the associate there. Just an overall arrogance and sense of being disturbed by having to talk to me. I did not purchase from them. Now over a year later I decided to try them again as I am looking for a hard to find rifle. Knowing that everyone has bad days, I hate to judge off one experience. Nothing has changed. They didn't have the rifle I wanted. No problem. Things are hard to find right now. I blew off the fact that the salesman said \good luck\ when he begrudgingly asked what I was looking for. So, in the hope that a well informed and knowledgeable SALESMAN would be able to help me in deciding on an equivalent, I asked about some of the other rifles on display. I wear glasses and from 5 feet away most AR rifles are pretty difficult for me to distinguish between when all I can see is the mag well. This was too much for said salesman. He did condescendingly ramble off some calibers and mumbled some manufacturers... but what was most clear was his obvious assumption that they were too expensive for my taste. So... instead of selling me a 2400 Springfield they had that I was actually considering purchasing... I apologized for wasting his time. Whoever owns Jim's should take a look at these reviews. I know my purchase doesn't add up to much for him, but the internet is forever. There's a lot of competition in town. I went across the street and ordered the rifle from precision. Didn't even ask about the price. They actually want to sell guns.

Bought a Spikes Tactical PHU Joker AR15 and Ruger 10/22 Targetlite and a Vortex Scope for the Ruger from here. Amazing place and the employees are super knowledgable and help you find exactly what you're looking for. Saw a bunch of bad reviews and figured I'd give my input, don't ask stupid questions and it's good to have an idea what you want, time is money people and wasting an employees time because your unsure isn't good, especially when doing it at a place as busy as this one is all the time!

Great selection now that gun sales are stabilizing somewhat. Even better customer service. If you have a question someone will have a great answer. I would recommend over the other gun shops in the area.
