A good (and long!) day at the Sale. Never been before but the venue was 1st rate - easy to park with a good restaurant. Three different auctioneers rotating throughout the sale I think so they could keep up the pace! Sale easy to view and staff happy to help or provide further information. Later evening viewing is v. helpful. Relaxed but professional atmosphere so you could make your mind up about what you were looking to buy. Nothing beats looking up close and seeing the items for yourself. Got several lots that I wanted and was outbid on a few others - paid, licence sorted and homeward bound. Simple. Will definitely be back again for the next one if I can get the time off

Good Sale - Enjoyed the day, and looking forward to the next one!
Awful service I have visited the auctions a few times now and have decided enough is enough. Extremely rude staff, shouting at customers seems to be the norm there. Fake items sold to me as genuine and when I try to get in contact to sort it out they ignore all emails. When bidding the auctioneers miss lots, when going to pay for your items at the end of the sale they add on those lots to your invoice because apparently we were bidding for those missed lots even though the auctioneer was taking my bid on the lot after! Was not offered a refund on these lots I didnt want even though a number of other customers had the same issue!
Horrendous venue. Far to small, people packed in like sardines, virtually impossible to view any reasonable amount of lots. I managed being bustled about for about twenty minutes and then just had to get out of there. They stand on the door demanding you pay a 5 entry fee otherwise you're not going in. But you do get a catalogue, whether you want one or not.
I rarely leave reviews but after an internet bid and putchase what a bunch they are. Rude, unhelpful (postage is a joke and lazy) and then on top of that the item isn't even as described! Can't tell the difference between a real WW2 item and one made in Russia 40 years later!? do you need a hand because I know 10 year olds that can help. Seriously. Even someone in the room pointed out it wasn't even what you listed it as, so you couldn't even get the title right. If you're going to be arrogant at least know what your're selling!.
