Had a fabulous Sunday carvery yesterday 21/09/2020. Perfectly cooked meat Beef and pork, great selection of vegetables in including creamed leeks which were so nice. The young men servers were delightful. Helpful efficient and polite with smiles. A great place to eat. Only sad thing is we’re going back to Kent today

After reading good reviews and seeing the lovely photos on Google, we decided to visit The Royal Oak for lunch in the garden. The food was fantastic, I really enjoyed the blue cheese and bacon baguette. Will will visit again and recommend to others. Reasonably priced and welcoming staff and we didn’t have to wait long for our lunch. Lovely garden out the back which was well kept and car park.

Having a weekend away with the family and fancied a Sunday lunch, phoned up and booked the night before and glad we did. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. Food was fantastic and well priced. Would highly recommend the Royal Oak and will return when next in the area.

We had lunch outside on a sunny but windy day. Found a sheltered spot under shade and had an excellent meal. I had a great home made pie with plenty of meat and delicious gravy. Others had scampi and one said it was the best she had ever had. The pizza slice I \stole\ was great too. The service was friendly and helpful and Covid taken care of.
