I am the sales manager at Total Handling Solutions Ltd and I have investigated comments from Clean Safe Manchester which were made two years ago and felt the need to investigate. The service department have informed me that Steve (MD) had booked a full service on his forklift truck which includes oils, filters, lubes, greases and consumables. Our engineer attended site and completed the full service and carried out the above. In Steve's absence, our engineer disposed of his old spark plugs and air filter in Steve's waste bin. On Steve's return he was informed the service was completed but then removed the spark plugs and air filter from his bin and in his opinion felt the parts removed didn't require replacing. We explained to Steve that a FULL service includes all the above parts/lubes etc. as it is the same as if his car was booked in for a service and would be replaced regardless of the condition , as we offer a very high level/standard of service - and a FULL service means a FULL service and the customer gets EVERYTHING he's paid for. We then offered to remove the new air filter and spark plugs and re fit Steve's worn parts. Steve was confused as to WHY we would go to such lengths to replace the parts but we felt if Steve was not happy paying for the new parts, we felt a need to do so. Steve delayed the payments until the above was completed but we feel our customers deserve the highest level of service which includes replacing all required parts. In my time here I feel that the standard of service that Total Handling Solutions Ltd offers is of the highest level, we deal with all types of industry/applications and I will continue promoting our company with positivity and pride.

Be very VERY careful of this company! In a routine service they replaced parts that were virtually new and most definately did not need replacing (I'm a qualified mechanic) ... and whats worse they actually believe its ok to do this! Their mechanics don't even know how to use feeler guagers and their response to a complaint was simply diabolical. I'm afraid they just lack any morals or ethics.
