When moving to my new house we had the most surely and un professional driver. A DIVA he failed to take the second POD because he said there wasn't enough space. I measured and there was. Couldn't reach the local manager to resolve. SUPER STRESSFUL! My mover who does a lot of business was finally able to get the local manger and guess what - two days later it got moved without a problem. Impossible to get help at corporate. Local office didn't have manager or assistant that could be reached directly. No apology - no nothing. Never use again!!!!

All of my Antique furniture has mold on it and some are now damaged and stained from the mold. Some of my carpets have mold damage. Some of my art work has mold damage. I do not recommend using POD's for storing anything valuable since it may get damaged. Beware!

my experience seemed mostly positive while in New England. however I was given a damaged pod. The down fall was in seattle. First, i found out that my pod was undeliverable to my location. So i rented a truck and drove the 60 minutes to the storage facility that had a locked office and no employees. So after finding my pod i uploaded it. Swept it clean and shut the door. 15 days later i was charged 200 dollars for a cleaning fee. I called customer service and was informed that I left a dish washer at my pod. I explained that I didn't move a dishwasher and that there must be a mistake. So they called the warehouse that said o refund he left this dishwasher and thats it\. I would be less upset had i been given an opportunity to fix the issue, but instead i lost a day and a half of wages to cover an abandoned item that was never mine to begin with. I will not recommend anyone use this service. But if you do, i wish you better luck than what I got.

The quoted price was way off, under what I ended up paying - once they have your items in storage, there's not a whole lot you can do if you want your things. My PODS were supposed to be immediately moved to storage in our new state, but were left in storage in the old state which is 15 hours away. Once I received our PODS (we had 2) my things were absolutely DISGUSTING. COVERED WITH MOLD/DIRT & RODENT FECES. I have family heirloom pieces of furniture that were covered with mold & had rodent droppings on the padding/coverings, in drawers & now stink of rodent urine; they are ruined. I had to clean everything before bringing it into my new home. The customer service people over the phone were very nice & professional but not at all helpful with my complaints. Scheduling/rescheduling was easy & again-no problems with the telephone schedulers & the drivers were great. BUT DUE TO THE CONDITION OF MY FURNITURE & PACKED THINGS, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND PODS NOR USE PODS AGAIN.

PODS Has made moving into my new home a complete nightmare. NEVER again. The POD was placed on my lawn - after I offered to have it on the driveway but was told it would be no problem on the lawn. Fast forward to the move date- Monday Nov 30th and it became a problem because there was a rain storm and they were unable to move it because the ground was too soft. The driver bluntly tells me she can’t move it and I will have to call to reschedule. After an hour on the phone the best they can do is “request” the new move date for Thursday Dec 3 but definitely by Monday Dec 7!!! I sold my house, and I’m moving to a new house so now this POD containing everything I own is on someone’s else’s property and I have NOTHING. I don’t understand how they think it it is okay to make anyone wait 8 days for the entire contents of their home. I have a 6 month old baby and our lives are being turned completely upside down right now. That “request” for Thursday- I was told I would not know if was approved until the night before between 6pm-9pm- spoiler alert, I never received a call so clearly it was not approved. The second best they were able to do for me ( after my 3rd phone call ) is have the pod delivered Saturday. That is still a SIX day lag. SIX DAYS WITHOUT EVERYTHING I OWN. And it’s supposed to rain Saturday- which I mentioned on the phone and asked what happens if the ground is too soft again to which the woman just said “I don’t know.” Complete nightmare. I would never recommend anyone I love use a POD.
