A beautiful, historic building within Prospect Park. Great place to stop for pictures and break the monotony of staring at wide green spaces. It has a small exhibit for those interested in learning its history but it is primarily a government office.

Most beautiful flowers I've ever seen in my entire life. When spring hits they are in their full bloom of glory. Wow!

Beautiful structure, but the \civil servants\ who work there are incredibly hostile and uncivil. Prepare to be treated like an intruder if you venture into this space.

The Litchfield Villa is particularly beautiful in early Spring, when the tulips are in bloom across its ample lawn. Picture forthcoming. I also used to play manhunt in the woods surrounding the villa, in junior high. Those were the days.

Awesome this 1857, Litchfield Villa...past times, when Brooklyn was mostly a huge farmland. I liked so much this historic building with its porch columns decorated with corn cobs and wheat stalks. Also this gorgeous building is considered a stellar example of 19th century romantic Italian architecture. Definitely a spot gem.\\ *****
