This is a very unusual thing to find across agricultural lands in the middle of nowhere. Accessible from M3, you need to pass by Stonehenge where most likely you will get into a traffic jam. Listen to you satnav to avoid that. Very special, looking a bit weird, but still worth visiting! Of course on pictures it looks more effective than in real life. You can get on top, but I missed that chance because I was with a toddler. Watch opening hours! There are walking paths around with beautiful nature and a car park. Unfortunately no public toilets. Picnic friendly.

A magical place, fantastic walking along the riding and through the woodland tracks to Stourhead.

A great favourite of ours. Take a picnic and sit by the tower after exploring the many paths through the forest. If you've enough energy you can climb the tower's 205 steps and admire the spectacular view of three counties. Not for the faint hearted!
