We booked a viewing of a house. On arrival we waited until another viewing had ended. I knocked and a man in a white shirt I have since found out is a founding Director came to the door. I was dressed in my normal weekend casual attire of jeans and sweatshirt I felt immediately he was sizing me, my partner and my son up. His attitude resembled I”don’t know what you’re doing here you can’t afford this house”. We are all working professionals who had travelled from London to keep the appointment.He was curt dismissive of any questions I asked by saying, “I don’t know”and lied that viewing had been carrying on since 9am. It wasn't, as we were in the street at noon and there was no one there. Apart from leaving us with a need to get away from the place fast, he was arrogant, judgemental and unprofessional. Not only did he fail the business he failed himself. We had been prepared to give a year rent upfront AND ask this agency to find us a family home to buy in the interim. Not any longer. The rot filters down from the top and reading the reviews from previous customers, I can see our experience was not unique. If the leadership is arrogant the staff have no point of reference to show them how provide a service. In a service industry, this arrogance and complacency is short sighted. There’s a recession coming Pearson Ferrier, good luck!!! .
