Castle Square English Presbyterian Church was built in 1882 in the Gothic style. Designed by Richard Owen, the church delivered sermons in English to serve the steadily growing population of non-Welsh speakers arriving during the Industrial Revolution. Inside, there is a wagon vault roof, fine woodwork and simple decorative stained glass.
