This is a very convenient place to stay. The rooms/ capsules are very clean and so well designed. But the rest is kind of run down and really need a renovation. Also the hotel and all the different spots and amenities are very confusing and was built with no real plan. So get ready to get lost/ lose your way. BUT IT IS SO CHEAP ONE CAN ALMOST OVERLOOK AL THESE FLAWS FOR THE CHEAP PRICE.

Great experience. The staff speaks some English, so maybe should have some conversational Japanese skills. The baths were great, the services were plenty including massages, and meals. The actual capsule was a bit must; but overall very clean. The capsule room has no lock on it so definitely use your locker. Is better to have less luggage to fit everything in the locker, but they can store away your luggage behind the counter if need be. It’s a great place to just lounge and relax. The location sits in the heart of many amazing bars, affordable izakayas, and there are many tours spots near by. It’s also very close to the station, maybe a 5 minute walk.

Here goes. First, to stay here you must 1. Be male, 2. Have NO tattoos. 3. Be sober. Here are the procedures. 1. Enter and go up to the 4th floor to check-in, take shoes off, put in a locker and hand that key over to begin check-in. You will get a main locker wrist key and a robe. Continue forward to the locker area and put clothes and belongings in the locker. OK to keep socks. Find your capsule on the 4th, 3rd or 2nd floor. Stairs are at the back of the building. When you are ready, you must enter the bath from the 1st floor. You must use the front elevator. Go down to the bath reception, show them your wrist key and get a necklace locker key. This locker is for your robe and socks. 1st floor baths and sauna - use sauna pants they provide. You can even swim in them. Go up to 2nd floor scrub and outdoor baths - get rid of them. OK..now...it suits the purpose and I enjoyed the stay. A throwback to the 80's. It gets 2 stars for the facility itself and the complicated procedures. Otherwise a 4. Check in after 4pm and don't go out. The restaurant has a simple but wide selection. Japanese salmon breakfast was cheap. Can use your phone in common areas and capsules. Free Wi-Fi. Place to stay after a hard day for some peace and quiet.

Booked for 30 located in a fun location... Strange onsen setup with 3 floors but free... Mattress was thicker than others. Overall clean.

I was staying there a few times already. At first I really liked it, but now I think it's only okay. The facilities are quite old, which always give a dirty image to me, even if they aren't. The locker is too small for big luggage, so I always have to give it to the reception, which isn't really convenient. It has an Onsen on the ground floor, which is free to use for hotel guests.

Perfect if you are a single male with no tattoos. I had a 21 hr layover in Osaka and this was a great place to crash for the night at only 22. The bathhouse was also a lot of fun to visit as well although a bit bewildering as a non-Japanese speaker.
