Ristorante i crociferi is conveniently located close to some of the major sights in Catania. The service was quite rapid and the restaurant appeared to be managed well. In terms of the quality of food, they served me one of the tastiest plates of pasta I’ve ever tried in Catania, in my opinion – perfectly balanced, nicely al dente, the umami flavours of the cephalopod were highlighted, generous portions and fairly priced. Fantastic restaurant!

This a good place with a long tradition. You can find typical seafood cuisine from Catania. Fish is fresh and well prepared staring from the typical raw/marinated and cooked seafood.

Best meal I had in Sicily. Quick service by lovely waiters. They didn’t have the tuna steak I wanted but the replacement was excellent. Their grilled veg was prob the best I’ve had. Beautiful bread rolls and the suggested wine match was ace. Finally the dessert: get the Marsala cream cake. Share with another. It’s cream pastry goodness on a plate. I miss it already. Will go again.
