風船状の袋でゲートを支える面白い形式で、SR合成起伏堰と言うそうです。吊り橋を渡る事が出来、堤体には昭和62年竣工とありますが、実際の運用はもっと前のようですね。県道394沿いから坂を下って行き、吊り橋も渡る事が出来ます。下流にも水利設備がありますが、交通量の多い道路があるので十分注意して下さい。
