Dr. Cogdill is simply incredible! Funny, articulate and explains *everything*!! His demeanor and true caring for patients is the bar to which other doctors should be held...he made sure my mom and I completely understood what was going on and what he was recommending and why. He puts everything in terms that can be simply understood.... I would recommend him to anyone who needs to be seen by a nephrologist!

Dr. Cogdill is marvelous!! I am losing my kidneys and have been in poor health for years, with an expansive medical record. When Dr. Cogdill walked into the examining room, he knew everything about my medical history, all the way back to the 1970's, when my health problems began. On subsequent appointments, he knew my past medical history and could refer to past illnesses without looking at his chart He explained in words and pictures the problem with my kidneys. He was very kind and, thorough. I was in a panic, he was very understanding. When I began crying, he comforted me and told me that if I ever felt frightened by the very poor condition of my kidneys, I should call him because he was never far from a phone. Dr. Jason Cogdill makes me feel safe, under his watchful eyes on my dying kidneys. He rearranged some of the meds that were hard on my kidneys, talked about what eating regimin I had to follow and addressed all of my concerns. He is very upbeat, creating an environment of ease and communication. For anyone who needs or wants to see a nephrologist, I highly recommend Jason Cogdill, MD.
