We were treated wonderfully to some wonderful food! We spent a decent buck there to get an idea of all the different Polish food they have. It was well worth it. We came home with leftovers that we're looking forward to eating again. The staff was very friendly. I especially recommend their homemade juice, and their soups. You don't want to miss this place!

amazing old style polish restaurant. If you want to see and taste how Polish emigrants lived and eat in the 70s and 80s, this is the place. very good food prepared in old Polish style. besides, in the area there are many traces of the former Polish inhabitants of the district called the \Polish triangle\.

What a hidden gem. From the outside you have no idea what to expect but from the inside its like being at your grandparents kitchen table! Cabbage soup was to die for! Everything was delicious and perfect. I was traveling alone cross country and stopped in for a homemade meal and boy did I get exactly what I was looking for. The man at the counter was so sweet and helped me pick out the best of what he had for the day to try. Everything was so tasty. If I am ever driving through Chicago again I will definitely be back!

We were just walking by checking out places in Chicago, and this one had \home cooked\ advertised on its window. We walked in just asking for a menu, but the guy told us to take a seat and that we were not forget eating here, lol. The pickle would rice soup was really delicious, And the cabbage soup was a little bit sour, but my friend really liked it. He also told us that we're really really like pierogies, and at first, we were a little bit unsure about it since we wanted a light breakfast, but he told us pierogies were really good. They were a little bland to me, but the sauce, which reminded me of soy sauce, made it better. And a lot of pepper. We got a sausage to eat. I was interested in the hot cereal with milk, believing that it was one of those cool special warm porridges that were sweet, but he said \It's just cereal with milk. Just cereal with milk.\ I decided to pay for my friend and me through card, but he said \Just cash. Remember what I said?\ But we both didn't remember him saying that, so we have to scrounge out cash to pay. Overall, very good food, and I really enjoyed the soup. However, He's a little pushy, and paying only cash is a little troublesome. I think they need to put in \Only Cash\ in the store to warn customers. Understandably, with the coronavrius, many restaurants and stores are suffering when it comes to customers, so we obliged. But him being really pushy was a little turn off for me. Overall though, a 4 out of 5. Great Polish food!
