We booked with Captain Charlie just searching charters on the internet. We couldn’t have gotten luckier! We were a group of 4 adults and 2 young boys. Captain Charlie was knowledgeable and engaging and knows these waters! He was fun to talk to and listen to. He was helpful with everyone and very patient with the young boys. Everyone caught something all morning long and it doesn’t seem to matter how long he’s been doing this (17 years as a charter Captain), he still gets excited when someone reels one in! We would highly recommend his service and will definitely book with him again!

We booked with Captain Charlie after taking a walk around the harbor and seeing the other charter companies had center console boats most with coolers for seats and finding the Island Queen as a flat deck pontoon with proper mounted swivel chairs was a great bonus for comfort. The boat was quiet and comfy and Charlie was attentive and conversational but not over bearing. He helped bait hooks and net fish as we caught them and threw a couple extra poles out to maximize chances. He's been at this many years and it shows. We caught 10 flounder and a blue fish on a four hour morning trip. Good guy, nice boat. I wouldn't hesitate to go again next year. FYI, if you're thinking of booking especially during peak season, try to call at least a couple weeks ahead!

Do not waste your time with a rude, unorganized owner who almost screamed to my son while instructing him. Unbelievably bad service.

Great boat ride with a lot of information. Saw just a few ponies.
