The staff were very friendly and professional. They speak very limited English but they will do their best to keep the conversation going and make you feel comfortable. It's definitely a cultural shock. The food and drinks are, of course, overpriced but that is the nature of their business. I am a shy person, but don't be afraid to experience it just once. You cannot get this kind of experience anywhere else. I am not sure how they compare to other maid cafes, but it is a tourist friendly. Will I go back there? Not likely. But for the experience, it was definitely worth it. If you are in Japan, just check it out even if you are not interested in such subculture. They also have English menu as well as Korean and Chinese. すごいカフェです。

A group of friends wanted to just try a maid cafe since it’s in so many anime’s. I’ve been to one before and it was a horrid experience and although I said I would never go back, they talked me into trying another one. This one is in the heart of Akirahbara and close to the station. It was actually a lot of fun and the girl were a lot prettier than my previous experience. They also had English speaking staff to make the experience easier to enjoy. Food wasn’t that great, but the deserts were yummy. If your on the fence, check this place out. You will probably have fun. This place is a bit hard to locate as it’s inside another store. Just keep going up the escalator until you see the entrance.
Had an amazing experience with Pikapi and Arthur Both so sweet and accommodating, make sure you come right when they open to get the most personal experience. All the girls are kind, but a little apprehensive to approach foreigners so if you speak Japanese, use it!
Probably the best Maid Café I have visited. I would have liked to discover it before because I really enjoyed it.
Ok, so I have been to other maid cafes and I know exactly how the service has to be done. I have no idea if I went at the wrong time, but the service was terrible. Our dessert was missing and we were already told to leave with no consideration of this situation whatsoever. The staff doesn't know anything about English and don't even try, believe me, but the other @home in Akihabara is way better in this respect.
