I understand that we have to do things differently with Covid. I don't mind the wait. I don't mind social distancing and masks. I get it about individual packets of condiments. But unfortunately the quality of the food has diminished greatly. It just does not taste good. I eagerly await our return to normal, and hopefully that will mean the return of flavor as well

Definitely nothing to write home about but we go there because it's two blocks from my house. I ordered the huge 20 Margarita just as a payback to my boyfriend because of a 20 beer he ordered when I was paying a few years back at a different restaurant, LOL. We only had drinks and chips this visit, they were okay...

We love Maggie so much. She is super nice and knows how to do her service. She was so patient and polite with us ordering we loved how she explained the menu to us step by step. She is spectacular. She deserves a promotion or a raise.

We are regulars at the downtown restaurant, and this was the first time at the Powers location. Our guacamole had an ice chunk in the middle, our margaritas came in pint glasses, and the food was cold when we were served it. The food tasted mediocre at best outside of the temperature. This is NOT the Jose's we know and love.

Had the house Margaritas and Carne Asada Fajita Burrito. It was delightful! The staff was super fast and friendly. Plan on coming back here much more often. The atmosphere and lighting was just right. Everyone was laughing and having fun, without getting rowdy. Knowledgeable staff! Drinks were well made and fast.
