Good for kids
I requested a gift certificate, by email as instructed, on 4 separate occasions to give to an underprivileged child at Christmas and I never once received a reply. I would think that a business of their rating would offer that to a child. I will never visit due to their lack of professionalism!

Wonderful. Very calm and beautiful horses... Great ride for the money.. Great guides.
The trail was beautiful and the view towards Omaha a nice surprise when we got to the lookout point. We were really surprised though that they do not have helmets for the riders. The staff and guides were very friendly and nice. I feel they should give some instruction about how to ride before we set off. Was kind of fun learning on the fly but would have neen nice to have a heads up before we started! For a beginners ride it was more challenging than I expected. I really thought some of the riders were going to fall off their horses at some points!
An absolutely fantastic time! Staff was super friendly from parking attendants (on horseback!) to tractor driver to security. Fire pit area was well kept, plenty of wood available. BYO everything and make it your own party. Neighboring parties were fun, helped take pics back and forth. A great time was had by all!!
You need to call ahead and make sure conditions are good enough for horseback riding and let them know when you are coming. When you get there you park and walk up to the barn where they will have you pay in cash and fill out the waiver. This is when you tell them your riding history so they can decide who gets what horse. The ride is about 45 minutes to an hour. The staff is friendly. You hang out and wait until they are ready to start then they guide you. The riding is dependent on weather so the season can be short or long based on it. This is an outdoor campy activity. Expect to get a little dirty and to be in the woods. Wear comfortable clothes and it helps keep your feet in the stirrups of you have boots with a small heel but you can wear sneakers. The outhouses are pretty clean but on a slope so that is a bit challenging. I've done the riding twice in different years and loved it both times.
