Very very quiet due to restrictions. I have never seen the centre of Croydon so quiet..certainly not before Christmas. But it was good for a quick walk around. Cant wait for this to be over. Once it is....visit Croydon guys

One of the best places in Croydon Town Centre. They have all of the shops and markets in just one mall. Best place to visit as a tourist or just normal day to day shopping. Some of the stores are closed and ther websites don't tell you that. For example, sports direct was permanently closed but on Google it said they are open in whitgift centre. But overall a very lovely place to visit. ESPECIALLY ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS as it is decorated beautifully.

Used to be a really nice Shopping Center. Unfortunately not many shops left because of the years of neglect from Croydon Council.

Depending what time you go, it can be very crowded with queues especially during this Christmas month. Unfortunately many stores during this pandemic on the ground floor and level 1 were mostly closed or about to shut down, you may see a few new businesses opening up but generally can be very barren these days. Most retail stores and essential supermarkets etc are all still opened for business, some places are offering hand sanitisers at entrance as you walk in and have their covid regulations in place. A few security guards patrolling the areas to make it a little safer for everyone.

Whitgift Centre might be old but it is nice. The shopping centre is spacious and houses M&S and Sainsbury. There are two floors which are accessible from the street level. Although it is quiet but worth visiting
