Terrible experience. I cannot express enough how bad my experience has been with cycle guard. They cancelled my policy without telling me and so when my bike was stolen and I tried to claim they are saying there is no active policy. No one contacted me to let me know, no one sent me an email and there is apparently nothing they can do. However they did still manage to take money out my account! I have raised a complaint but unsurprisingly now no-one is getting back to me. Do not get insured with them, absolutely awful.
I would seriously advise people not to use this company, still taking money from my bank, despite phoning up twice in consecutive months to cancel my policy, staff do not seem to know what they are doing. Very unprofessional and I will be reporting to trading standards. If Google would allow I would have given \0
Had bicycle insurance and subsequently changed my bike so needed to revisit the insurance. This so happened to fall at the end of the term. I wanted to shop around so I instructed them specifically not to renew. Then they took money out of my bank as they had decided to automatically renew my policy after ignoring my emails. Wrote 5 emails more to them, nobody responded. Got through to someone on the phone who didn't have any information on my correspondence. Have since wrote to them (a letter!) to their call center and to their offices - STILL NO RESPONSE a month later. They owe me two months as refund. Still no one talks to me. I tried to contact this company when my policy was up for renewal. Firstly I emailed them 2 weeks prior to the policies renewal no response. I then tried to phone them and after nearly half an hour of no response gave up. I then received an email from them near the end saying sorry to see you go I emailed them back saying I hadn't had a reply to my email and I wanted to discuss renewal and explained the lack of communication on their behalf! still haven't received a response so have gone with another company.
