M Cantina serves up a nice twist on traditional Latin/Mexican cuisine by offering halal meat and fancy non-alcoholic drinks. The service is quick & helpful and you can tell the dishes are freshly prepared with great ingredients! For appetizers/tapas, we ordered the Chicken & Cheese Arepa, Chicken Tinga Empanada, Esquites (grilled corn bowl), and Papas Bravas (spicy fried potatoes). Highly recommend the corn-based arepa which comes topped with delicious sauces and pickled onions. The empanada and papas bravas came crispy & hot. Know that the potatoes are quite spicy and salty, something that might overwhelm or satisfy depending on your tolerance. We ordered Cecina and Braised Short Rib tacos which were both delicious but we enjoyed the braised short rib a lot more as they were juicy, saucy, and topped with fried onions. We also got the M Cantina torta which was such a comforting sandwich with perfectly crispy bread and marinated chicken. The drinks are really fresh and delicious, although they are on the expensive side.

I go to M Cantina frequently. I've always enjoyed my food whether it be dining in or carrying it out. I think my favorites are the shrimp tacos, steak fajitas and the Mexican street corn....YUM. Customer Service wise: Honestly, I am quite baffled by the comments about Heidi. She has always been pleasant with me. Both chefs have been as well....I think one of their names in Junior. Overall, I am a fan of M CANTINA!!! I will always support this small privately owned business.
Everything was so delicious from the appetizers to the loooong list of tacos (fish is always my fav) to the beautiful and yummy desserts! Really worth trying. 4 stars because it’s a little over priced (my opinion) but worth the experience. Tight seating in the restraint with chairs that are way too high to be comfortable but the back room has better seating more accountable for groups. This is a must try if you love delicious tacos and the best drinks(offer halal options for everything). This took my back to Cancun
