My main purpose for going to the base was to access the Post Exchange, Access is limited to active, retired or totally disabled military veterans and one must have valid ID to gain access. Once there I found the prices on most commodities to be well below retail. If you want groceries the place to go is the commissary at Selfridge AFB on the East side, but for small purchases this is a good bet.
