I will share my honest experience with Pods, including both pros and cons: I'll start with the Pros: 1. Its very easy to use. 2. The box is Sturdy and packing tips are useful. Now, for the meat of this review, the Cons: 1. First, I was not charged what I was quoted on the phone call with the rep. (He quoted me 1950, and I was charged 2200 (250 extra), for no reason. 2. Why do you have to wait for a rep to call you to give you a quote in the first place? Shouldn't it be given you to directly when you finish your application online? It's 2020 guys, c'mon. 3. This perhaps is the point that got under my skin the most, but PODS cannot stick to dates. I had to make 3 calls on 3 different days with 3 different representatives to re-book pickup and delivery dates since no-one was picking up my pod from in front of the storage center for days. 4. The website did not update the location of my pod accordingly, and I only found out it had arrived to California and was sitting in a storage location from a phone call with a rep, when it should have notified me as soon as it arrived. Overall Rating: 2/5 Stars

My account was set up on autopay for 5 months with no problems. According to pods my card “expired” and they claimed they tried to reach out to me numerous times but I never received a phone call, an email , nothing from pods to let me know that my autopay was not working. I only found out because I went outside and my container was gone! The woman on the phone argued me down saying they’ve been emailing me and calling me . She even said the driver tried to call me before he came but I never received not 1 form of communication from this company. I eventually just told the lady look how much is the balance and when can you bring it back . She told me the balance , and it was paid immediately! The next Day I woke up to 120 being removed from my account. Come to find out they charged me for redelivery. Which is fine I guess but still again no communication letting me know I would be charged!!! I give this company 1 star based on their terrible customer service and terrible lack of communication!!

I made the mistake of accessing my PODs containers while in storage to remove my beds on Tuesday so I could move into my house since my delivery wasn’t scheduled until Friday. I completely emptied one container, this caused someone at PODs to cancel my delivery and set me up for a self move for my other container without ever speaking to me and if I had not called to check on my delivery I would have never known. The delivery and pick up has gone downhill from there. The POD container is still blocking my driveway since the 23 of November because the pick up somehow wasn’t scheduled. I can only hope it’s picked up on December 3 as promised after sitting here for 8 of their business days blocking my driveway.

Terrible poorly run company, best to avoid. Sales rep \Forgot\ to schedule my POD to ship from Los Angeles CA to Atlanta GA so it sat in LA. I went to get some stuff out of my POD in Atlanta 4 weeks later and they told me it was still in Los Angeles. It finally arrived in Atlanta 6 weeks late. I schedule a visit with the 24 hour advanced notice twice now and it is never pulled out when I arrive. This company is the absolute worst service. Elementary school kids could run this company better.
