Went there for my birthday celebration. All the dishes we ordered were amazingly tasty, even the bread was homemade and very nice. I even wanted to buy some home. The staff was very friendly. The environment and decor were nice also. Enjoyed our meals and had a great celebration.

Possibly the best restaurant in Edinburgh. The food is absolutely exquisite with extremely friendly staff and the most beautiful surroundings. This place has to be seen and enjoyed to believe. Proprietor and Chef Carlo is a gentleman and a culinary genius.
We had a wonderful time at the grain store. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The restaurant is really well located and romantic! Hope to visit again when we are next in Edinburgh as this place is a real treat.
Superb 1st floor restaurant with amazing views overlooking Victoria Street, the inspiration for Barry Trotter's Diagon Alley. Amazing quality food at amazing prices. I have many happy memories of this place over the years. (10% discount if you bring your own live owl) Not to cook of course!
