This obviously doesn’t matter to them, so I may have to give the beautiful city a 1 star rating too, but the other raters are correct. I received a bill for almost 500 due to fines for an unpaid traffic violation (let’s not even get into whatever randomness that might have been?) which I never received because the police department sent it to the wrong address. Their online “evidence” even showed a clear picture of the notice with the wrong address and undeliverable return to sender marked on the envelope. They then tack on fines over the next couple of years due to their error and thus my lack of knowledge to pay it. After 4 weekly attempts to contact them on their online form (the only way they give) they respond with “your fine notifications were never picked up”. Well, no kidding since you got the address wrong as your evidence clearly shows! Oh how far the Roman Empire has sadly fallen.

As a visitor that paid a premium to visit Florence, I was disappointed to learn how they treat tourists - with a rental car. I read about the strict zoning laws and was fully intending to not fall trap to that. Well - if you are fluent in Italian, you will know exactly where to not go, but as an English speaking person that has to interpret the sign you have little chance. I dropped of my family at the hotel as our host said we could do so, she even offered parking. I assumed she had a pass. Wrong! I figure to be safe and parked 10 miles out of city limits, taking a rail cart in and out of town when needed. Trying to drop of a young family close to the city, I still managed to pick up 6 X fines. (if you pass a certain point you get fined and once again when you go back) The unwillingness of local traffic enforcement to accommodate dual language signs and more importantly - letting the tourist know where they transgressed (they use cameras - you only get the fine when you get back) so that they don't repeat something they are not aware off. It really left a foul taste in my mouth. Clearly the 53mil they generate through traffic violations suits the city just fine and adds to them not doing anything to change this steady income. I will certainly preach to all that will listen that it is not a tourist friendly town - don't go!! By the way - if you challenge, there is a 90% chance of loosing your appeal at which point the fine is doubled. Not paying, don't be surprised if you see your credit card (they get that from the car rental) used. Does not help you cancel your CC. The contract with the Car Rental Co precedes the date of card cancellation.

We came on a holiday to Tuscany hired a car from Florence for 5 days and drove through Tuscany. We obeyed all speed limits and road signs. We used a gps to take us back to car rental in Florence. Because they were doing work on a bridge..GPS took us the best route. We have been given a notice of a fine. Very disappointed as we came to this country as a tourist and spent a lot of money.

Con la macchina da 2 settimane dal meccanico mi mandano una multa per eccesso di velocità, vado per contestare e non ti rispondono mai e mai al telefono. Email mandata e non ho ricevuto nessuna risposta! Mi dite voi istituzioni, come faccio per far rispettare i miei diritti? Sul sito immetto i dati per visualizzare la foto che sicuramente non è della mia macchina e mi da errore. Ce da impazzire con le istituzioni qui!!!!

Qualsiasi contatto telefonico, email o pec senza alcun riscontro. Se si prova a pagare on-line, senza neppure sapere il motivo per cui si sia trovato un avviso completamente in bianco sul parabrezza, il sistema restituisce un errore! Sorge il sospetto che si vuole evitare il pagamento ridotto. Mah! Si dovrebbe avviare una class-action contro questi signori, guidati da una massoneria così potente che nessuna osa sfidare. Arroganti e nullafacenti!

Siete da denuncia, mi è stata fatta una multa per l'incompetenza dei vostri agenti che nemmeno sanno che il parcheggio può essere pagato con EasyPark, sono due settimane che mi è arrivata la multa e sono due settimane che al telefono risponde solo quella voce registrata di default che consiglia di scrivere una mail (fatto) a cui non avete ancora risposto dopo 10 giorni. Ah dimenticavo, il giorno in cui mi era stata fatta la multa ho perso un'ora in quel postaccio quale è il comando delle Cascine per sentirmi dire che la procedura per l'annullamento va fatta online perché \più veloce\ e loro non potevano farci niente; ai miei dubbi sul buon funzionamento della procedura online, avendo visto le recensioni, mi è stato risposto che erano solo di gente arrabbiata e che tutto funziona alla perfezione. Non è vero, siete degli incompetenti.

Questa è l'Italia dei ladroni autorizzati... ti fanno multe x ogni cosa anche molto discutibili, poi in caso di rimborso parziale x errori loro,ne rispondono al telefono e dicono che non gli arriva la documentazione inviata via PEC... l'unica speranza? Che un giorno questo ladri la pagheranno cara....

Scortesia massima nessuno risponde il cittadino e il delinquente e loro sono sempre perfetti in una città come Firenze ci vorrebbe tutto un altro comportamento oggi sono andato e come sempre i vigili si dimostrano arroganti e indisponente mi meraviglio del sindaco non possono personaggi così arroganti rappresentare una città come Firenze e nello stesso tempo si dimenticano che esistono e mangiano perché i cittadini gli pagano lo stipendio nel privato sarebbero cacciati
