My husband and I are being placed at our first duty station here in fort bliss, and I just have to shout out Heather Ramirez!! She was so kind, caring, and helpful! And made things way less difficult for us and worked with our situation! Thank you Heather! I wish more people in this world were like you :)

As far as office staff goes, they're usually great. But overall, the quality of the homes here are horrible. We've lived in a home in three different neighborhoods here and each one has had issues. Maintenance is a joke. Our AC unit had to be replaced when we first moved in over a year ago and the old unit is still sitting outside. We've been told numerous times that somebody will get it, but it's still here. Also, the number of layers of paint is something I've never seen before. My home here in Logan Heights has to have AT LEAST 10 layers of thick paint on everything. They even painted over all the hinges. The doors don't even fit the frame and they're constantly scraping. When it gets warm and the wood expands, you literally have to ram the doors in the house to get into rooms and closets. It's horrible that Balfour Beatty feels this is an acceptable quality of living for soldiers and their families.
Same company runs these homes as they do in Colorado STAY CLEAR of the rental company ! they tell you to do 1 thing on move out and when you do as asked, they turn around and before you know it,you have a collection on you,that you didn't know existed bc they don't call you, email you or anything to tell you ,that you have to pay for repainting and when you try to settle the bill ,they tell you " oh we can't help you it's in collection ,talk to them, so you call collection and when you try to settle the bill ,collection refuses,hangs up on you and BAM its now in collections and on your credit. The rental company for these homes are.money grabbers and don't even do the work that needs to be done( in Colorado ) we will see how they turn out here.if I could give them zero stars I would!

The rating is specifically for Ms. AIDA REYES from Paseo Del Norte neighborhood for her professionalism, patience and kindness dealing with the vacating process. Lived at this house since Dec 2010! Had inquired about her final inspection and she took the time to research it to confirm some things especially my file on work orders may have been a long list worth 10 years. She was prompt in returning my calls and emails and was able to solve the issue. Need more caring and professional people like her. I may have not dealt with other employees from that neighborhood but I'm sure they are a great team. Thank you again Ms Reyes.
I really am disappointed you told me 8 to 10 weeks before I could get a house. What a joke and then to tell me I will have 3 homes to choose from and say none are available at this time??? That makes zero since. Also to add from the comment below. I will be taking my business elsewhere after all the bad reviews.
Overcharge you for everything they can find that worth less at Walmart such as blind. Walmart cost 15-20 dollars there price is 75 dollars. If you moving out don’t have Arnold Loya,he’s the manager and he will charge you an outrageous amount for everything. Terrible housing overall
I have been living here for 7 months and I love it. I was concerned because of the bad reviews but to me it has been a positive experience. the homes are very nice( I live in La Noria) they are spacious and well maintained. Maintenance responds quickly and efficiently. the playgrounds and streets are clean. I am ver comfortable. I love living on post because everything is close by and the military police security a big plus to me. feel free to email me at briandalindoro@gmail.com if you need any questions. Also I have 2 small children and two dogs(Australian shepherds ). kids are happy dogs are happy too.
