I used work here for 3 months Oct, 2018 - Jan 2019! How a good this place is- the visitors when I was 3 months in the hospital came from this place! We my wife and I gave my money and we got a month news letter. This place offers a innhab to down and out.

A wonderful place to work! Here is a place where men and women find their needs of shelter, food, and clothing met. Spiritual guidance and Christian love is provided for each client. Free food, free clothing, and inexpensive and free furniture is also provided to those who are in need. Thank God for Galesburg Rescue Mission!

Very nice little city! Sortof historic! People seem nice and friendly! Nice place to be for a short while! Peaceful which is nice in this crazy world! A blessing that there are possibly still nice places to live and be in this world that would be safer and actually like peaceful as opposed to others!

The force things down your throat everyday. You are made to attend chapel 19 times a week. They involve politics with religion. The lunch cook Richard,a so called Christian that's \In the program\, disrespects clients all the time, talks down to people. The director Takes donated steaks home, tells people that have different beliefs that they can't get clothing or food. The Chaplin takes donated things to use in his new home he's building. There is bed bugs in the dorm, roaches in the dining room and kitchen. They play favorites. The place is a real joke.
