Good place to take a break during the middle of a run. Substantial view of 5 Mile Drive and Point Defiance’s shore cliff side. If you bring a warm drink you can watch the boats go in and out of the harbor

Beautiful location great for runs bike rides as a publicly accessible beach.

Limited parking to say the least,and not much room to turn around.Don't let that scare you off though, one of the best views in the harbor! Well worth the effort.

Tiny spot at the mouth of Gig Harbor. You will have to walk here down the deadend road that starts near Tides Tavern. Great views of the mouth of the harbor and the Puget Sound towards Tacoma. A couple of benches but you'll probably want to lean against the railings to enjoy the view.
