I'll give it a review. Do not attempt to turn around a HGV in this yard if you are not delivering here. I had a delivery to a steel company on the same street and Richard Austin's is at the end. My thinking was maybe my delivery is in the same yard or maybe Austins have taken over, I will ask anyway! So as I approached the closed barrier it raised! In I drive and start to reverse in to the lorry bays. The Scotsman foreman storms out of the building to my vehicle. Alright mate I asked..... YOU won't be pal he says. He demanded to know why I was there and the name and phone number of my transport manager and employer. He took photographs of my number plate and said he will be ringing my employer to get me sacked for trespassing! Good luck with that as I was driving a vehicle that displayed a famous worldwide name on the doors and no phone number. When I declined his offer he threatened to give me a right hook if I got out of my cab. My parting words were to tell him that Scotland should get independence and when it happens the English should rebuild Hadrians Wall to keep all the Scottish North of the border to keep you all in!! Keep up the good customer service!
