If I'm foreign student living in Granada and I do NOT recommend this hospital! If you have insurance, go to Hospital La Inmaculada. This hospital is a complete joke. Last year I went to the emergency room, waited 4 hours in the waiting room for them to attend me and then they were the most rude nurses I've ever had. Just today I had a telephone appointment with a gastroenterologist and they never called me. I just called the hospital and ask them what happened...the receptionist tried to call the department and they didn't even answer for her. The receptionist told me to \try calling again later\. To me this is absolutely unacceptable, that as a paying patient, they miss my appointment and then ask me to do the organizing for them and call THEM later. That \maybe\ they would be available. Do NOT waste your time or your money with this place, they're a business not a health care facility. They just want your money and then to leave you with zero quality medical attention.

I had abdominal surgery at this hospital last year. Have zero complaints. From first assessment and pre-op checks, to the five days as an inpatient and then the follow up months later, everyone was excellent. The surgeon was fantastic at the time and remains so. I contacted her via email recently about medication and she replied immediately. All the staff were helpful, attentive and polite. Everything was explained to me clearly. My room was great, had lovely views which helps, all facilites were spotlessly clean. I work in healthcare and was recommended this hospital. I will use them again without hesitation.

My wife had a stomach problem and we came here for emergency around 11pm. Natalia was extremely attentive and accompanied us through every single step since we don’t speak Spanish. She helped us translate and went above and beyond to make our visit as seamless as possible. The staff were all very nice and had big smiles on their faces even for a late night shift. Highly recommend if you run into an emergency in Granada!

After treatment with one of their doctors, who was very good, he requested that I see him after a specific period following initial treatment. It is impossible to book an appointment as they do not respond to multiple attempts to book. I am now going to miss the time specified by the doctor. This could be very serious

I am a local living abroad. This is my parents' home hospital and they only have praise for the place. I've been there, and the hospital is spotless clean, very modern and very well organized. I have taken my mum there recently and I was very impressed with the premises re cleanliness, functionality, and medical services. However, every time my family get sick and I have to call to this hospital from overseas the automated phone extension derivation doesn't work. I found this problem about 2 years ago, when I had to expend tons of money making repeated calls to be put through the patient's room. I formally complained about this issue then, several times, because, due to the time differences, there isn't always a family member with a mobile in the room with the sick. Well, about 8 months ago, the problem with the automated phone system still persists, something that I find most annoying and unacceptable. Information desk works well, but calling them is another hurdle because they are short of staff and the line is frequently engaged. Beyond that, the hospital has great facilities, private rooms, and the nurses are always sweethearts according to my parents. Medical attention is good on the floor. The facilities for outpatient and consultation rooms are great and the system extremely well organised. Emergencies is very well organised, and follows the same system I have overseas, however, they would need at least another triage room to attend to customers when emergencies is busy. The main problem with the hospital is their being short of staff, especially at desks when people have to attend to a high volume of patients to request appointments, show up previous to the appointment and get back to them after the appointment. The hospital is easily accessible by bus, as line 33 stops at the door.
