Excellent welcome, homemade food and better pricing than some Routiers.

Ate here as it was the only place open late at night. Menu is not in English. When taking time to study the French menu, the waitress got impatient. In the end ordered steak and chips. The well-done steak was raw on inside and burnt on outside. For almost 20 Eur per steak this was a disgrace. Only come hete when you want a drink.

You can't miss this place after dark because of the huge neon signs. Artisan rather than chic but much more interesting than stopping at a motorway service station. Probably the best truck-stop restaurant I know! Accessible from the autoroute and open late - we've arrived around 10pm and still had steak & chips with salad bar as a bar meal, even though the restaurant was closed. Check opening times before visiting at the weekend - hours are shorter than on weekdays.

The home-made terrine is to die for, awesome steak... Perfectly cooked and super tender. The sides however were a bit underwhelming.
