Vala's Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard is my most favorite place on earth to visit and take my family to. With a great selection of gourds, apples, and pies! They have reserved camp sites to have a campfire for bigger family outings. There are so many great things to do at this beautiful place and I highly recommend it to ANYONE. You will not be disappointed!

It's a great place to get pictures and take your kids in the fall. Their apple cider was so good, I had to wait in line to go buy more after they were closed for the season. Pricing is cheaper in September then October. I personally rather go in September because it's warmer. And October it was hit and miss for the weather with some of it being pretty chilly. Popular items seem to be the pie shack and the turkey legs for sure. Also the cider donuts and the cider itself is very good. They also sell hard cider not just the regular apple cider.

Lots of fun things to do - more than you can do in one day! The entry process took a while. We arrived at 8:45 on a Saturday (they open at 9) and had to wait in a long line (even with pre-purchased online tickets). Once we got inside it was fine and we really didn't have to wait for much other than the train (that wait was over an hour). Kids had a blast, food was good (apple donuts, hot cider and cider slushies chocolate chip cookie bucket) and though it was crowded, we were able to maintain social distancing. To be honest, I tend to avoid places with massive amounts of children but there's enough room to spread out here so it didn't feel crowded at all. Fun fall place to go for the whole family!

We always enjoy Vala's! I think the perfect age to bring kids is 2.5 years old when they can run around and try everything! The egg scramble play room is always entertaining as well as the giant playground by the pie barn! Turkey legs are a must at least once each season. Also, remember to order your pies for Thanksgiving!!
