Excellent location, great playground and a great tradition

The Beerwanderer

One of the very best Bierkellers in Franconia by far. Also, rates as one of the top Schäuferlas and Kellerbiers. Big leafy trees, quick, great value self-service food, and amazing (and inexpensive) beer. There's a big play area for kids and if you sit away from it, you won't even know there are kids there. It's bustling but somehow peaceful. If you are in Forchheim, you should catch a bus out here for sure.
