I probably shouldn't be telling you this because one of the reasons I love this place is it seems to be undiscovered. It's the classic Apple picking experience and their cider donuts are the best I have found. If you want to avoid crowds and have a fun day picking apples, you really can't do better than Westward Orchards.

Great orchard and farm stand! We didn’t start our journey heading Westward, but after being turned away (pandemic capacity) from a neighboring orchard, we quickly pivoted west, and could not be happier!! Decent sized orchard, that was exactly what we wanted, lots of McIntosh and Cortlands, and one small section with a wider variety (braeburn, red delicious, empire, golden delicious). Compared to other orchards within an hour drive of Boston, this little gem is a serene escape from the masses, and was an most relaxing afternoon outside.
Came here apple picking last weekend and had a great time! We paid 20 for a peck bag and I liked that they had many different types of apples to pick. Felt very safe with the current protocols for COVID. They also have a farm store (inside is currently closed), but there is a selection on the porch and you can also place online orders to pick up. They also have pumpkins. And they also sell apple cider and apple cider donuts, totally worth a short wait because they'll bring them out fresh and hot. Super delicious!
I had a chicken salad spinach wrap that was very tasty and surprisingly filling. My picture shows the second half of the sandwich...sorry I was hungry! Great donuts and pies here too.
Perfect Sunday morning apple picking. No crowds, lots of apples, beautiful orchard, friendly staff. And most importantly truly magnificent apple cider donuts.
