Great big barn converted to a high standard. Well maintained gardens. Heating and Wi-Fi did not work properly so was very hot a lot of the time.

What a fantastic, tranquil and well appointed setting and an amazing venue to gather three generations of family from across the globe. The barn and grounds gives loads of indoor and outdoor space for everyone and loads to do locally - both for young and old - although you do need a car. The welcome hamper was certainly that; fabulous apple juice, cakes and crisps from local companies, tea, coffee, sugar and milk making the settling in period easier while awaiting our food delivery. The games room was well used by the adults as well as the children, unfortunately the older kids hogged the hot tub. The grounds allowed play of french cricket, hide and seek and a large scale water fight. We used the bbq and the pizza oven, both of which were a big hit. The barn is well equipped with everything you could think of, the disabled bathroom was ideal for our member of the family that needed it. There are fans in most bedrooms and were definitely needed especially on the top floor, we also took our own after communication with the owners, due to the extreme heat at the time. Comfortable beds and great pillows, bathrooms spacious and fab showers, lots of hot water (not that we needed it mostly cold showers to cool down). We did have a couple of issues, which the owners were very reactive too, both outside normal control, but communication was excellent, owners supportive, even though the issues could not be resolved straight away. Overall a fantastic venue which we wouldn’t hesitate to use again. Amy and Liz thank you.
We have an annual reunion of college friends and always stay in self catering accommodation. This is one of the best we have stayed in. The rooms were large and each had en-suite facilities. The barn provided everything we needed.
A great place & would definitely consider returning. The location, amenities & accommodation itself could not be faulted - perfect for a weekend getaway with a large group of friends or family event. Thank you for having us Penblaith.
