We absolutely loved this place! The food was so fresh and flavorful!! The blackened chicken was amazing!! Fresh herbs!! Yum yum! We will definitely come back here! The staff was so friendly and the drinks were amazing. The inside is also very charming. Food is served on paper plates for covid but it’s not a big deal.

A group of friends and I came here for restaurant week. We had reservations and were seated probably 15 minutes after we arrived. We were seated for up to 20 minutes before everyone got waters and/or ordered a beverage. All food dishes were served on paper/disposable products which, personally, is hugely disappointing. Our food was just okay. There was nothing remarkable about our entrees, they were just kind of “eh”. Most of us ordered the steak variant on their restaurant week menu. For desert I got their chocolate mousse which was not good. It was partially frozen) there was a chunk of ice in the center) and the rest was watery. Over all nothing egregious happened. I would go back to give Blue Bird another try. I think they have a lot of potential. However, we unfortunately had a seriously underwhelming and disappointing first experience.

The Costrada was good. However, the sauce was a bit too sweet and the crust was slightly scorched. The interior was a tad too rustic. The fabric on the seats was ripped and appeared to be dingy. They do feature plenty of vegan and gluten free options! It was a nice restaurant but not my cup of tea!

Service was terrible. It took an hour to get our food even though the restaurant was not busy. It took about 30 minutes for cream and sugar to be brought to our table for our coffee. The couple seated next to us got there probably 20 minutes after we did, ordered after we did, and their food was brought out quickly and it was nice and hot.There was in employee sitting at a table next to us eating her own breakfast and the only reason we even got our food when we did was because she overheard me saying I was going to pay for my drink and go somewhere else for food. When we finally did receive our food it was cold. My friend ordered an omelette and it was extremely watery and gross. Definitely not somewhere I will be eating again.

My first time here...we came for restaurant week. Decor was charming and waitstaff was nice. Cocktails were pretty good. Food was surprisingly bland and served on paper plates...they said for covid safety. (incidentally, i didn't put the plate in my mouth but I did lick the silverware.)
