Heard good things about this place from lots of acquaintances hence decided to pay a visit. The place is hidden amongst innumerable shops on the gariahat broadwalk and one can easily miss out if not paying attention. Nonetheless we arrived and ordered Chhana r dalna, Chitol Muitthya, Bhetcki Paturi, Kochi Pathar Jhol with Basmati rice. While both the fish items tastes spot on and impressed us, we were tad disappointed with the mutton dish as the meat was rather on the tougher side which is unexpected from a "kochi patha". The veg item was so so, pocket pinch is average, would recommend a visit.

Every thing food, taste and service is good except the space and wash area is very crumbled and short. Price and range of variety of traditional food items are splendid. There is room for improvement here. Thanks.

Most food items taste the same. Luchees smelled off raw Soyabean Oil. Too much use of Poppy Seeds (posto) in most of the dishes. Too spicey for Urban Bengalees.
