A great ambience where you can relax with family and friends. The food is extremely good and the best element is the warmth you are greeted with as soon as you step inside. One of the best places in Kolkata with a totally hygienic kitchen which you can check out through the glad door.

Learnt about this place from a friend's facebook post and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located in a quaint residential neighbourhood in Mudiali (Rajani Sen Road). The owner Ishani is a very warm and friendly host and would go the extra mile to ensure that your gastronomical adventure turns out to be an enjoyable one. Kothu Paratha is a signature dish there apart from Vindaloo and other malabar specialities. Very spacious and siry decor and prices are fairly reasonable. Give it a try.

What a delicious dinner it was!! Browse through the pics to know more about the delicacies we gorged on.. And yes, #Jigarthanda is missing in the pics but don't miss out on this welcome drink whenever you visit.. #PorkKoduParatha, #ButterGarlicCrab & #GoanPorkChorizoDosa have already become my eternal favourites out here.. The love for this place and it's authentic food increased a lot more with the #second visit.. I genuinely see myself coming back again & again.. Won't thank you for your gracious hospitality dearest Ishani di bcz you are family now (I have genuine doubts about the fact that this was our second meeting only).. Loved meeting you in person finally dear #Mukund - had a great time chatting with you - can't wait to meet again.. Well, if you haven't been to this place yet - you are certainly missing out on something very special in the food scene of Kolkata - that's the least I can say.. They don't serve anything fancy as such but what they do serve is nothing but #SOULFOOD.. ️️ Drop in today & you can thank me later.. Oh and before I forget - the residence of our iconic detective Felu da is bang opposite the restaurant - it's #RajaniSenRoad.. Journey of an Epicurean Cine Trotter (Blog on Facebook) continues.. My journey can also be tracked on Instagram via @epicureancinetrotter By the way, have you joined Kolkata Food Trotters on FACEBOOK yet??
