Recently purchased a 2019 F150 and went on a search for a lift top for the back bed, these things are expensive when they are painted to match your truck. Called a week or so ago to inquire about replacing a door seal on a used A.R.E cap that I picked up elsewhere on a temporary basis for one trip. I don't recall who I spoke to, but was basically told the door seal will leak and to expect it. Really? I had a FlipBak on prior to this, and had a fraction of the leaking. The individual I spoke to was arrogant and when I mentioned it was a used cap from somewhere else they became even less helpful. Never A.R.E. and never Jem Top for me ever again. Repsonse to owner: I'm sorry, but the door should not leak any time it's opened when raining. Other than rain directly falling into the open cap while raining. Rain leaking through hinges and seals is not acceptable and this is the entire premise for this review. I realize you're the A.R.E. dealer, but they refer everyone to you instead of taking responsibility themselves.
