Appalling decision making and carryout the bare minimum. Sustained a back injury where I could barely walk and had to be taken into A&E on a wheelchair. No scans were carried out and prescribed me pain killers to take and discharged me. It turned out that I had actually herniated a disc in my lower back when a scan was done weeks later at another more competent Hospital. Had Leicester Royal Infirmary carried out a scan in the first place, the condition could have been managed better and would have prevented further damage to the disc. A complete cluster of a Hospital

I came in on the 4th with a leg injury and was very quickly sent to injury, unfortunately I missed medication in triage but thankfully looked after in the injury department. Alice was very apologetic and was obviously overworked but considerably caring at such a hard time. I was also helped by an amazing man both on way to injury and back to the car park that I cant recommend enough. The doctor I saw was brilliant and precise but both Alice and the porter were extremely helpful and kind.

I am really grateful to the staff who took care of me especially during the Covid period. I didn't have my family with me but so many of the nurses made me feel cared for that I didn't feel so bad about that. Thank you!
